Yea doesn't that region have intense sunlight? I think Ice Cream Alcremie could do well there, and I think I have an idea for the dex entry:

"it can regenerate it's body when a piece is taken off, so it offers different flavors of ice cream from itself to people when the sunlight is too intense"
