So this dude is named the Reaper, but his real name is just Charles. He comes from a world that takes place in the 1300's, and was the person who discovered something called spirit magic, which allowed him to tap into the spirit realm. Because of this, he was selected by a being named the parasite lord to take away the souls of people who have lost the bodies to control them, to prevent them from doing whatever they want without a conscious to stop them. He did his job, but one day, the parasite lord was sealed away by the king of where theyre from, and one day broke out, angered and wanting to kill the king. Since the king was close friends with Charles, Charles still did his job, but now doesn't work for the parasite lord.
