Trump's Golden Dome seems a lot like Strategic Defense Initiative or Star Wars, meaning that it would take way too much time and money from an R&D perspective. If I were him I would concern myself with increasing our anti-ballistic defenses, as well as military and grid cybersecurity.

I would also avoid striking Iran and catering to Israel's demands because it is not a good use of taxpayer dollars and it would hurt our peace and trade consensus with China. Iranian missiles can't reach the US mainland, but Chinese and Russian missiles can.

As a moderate leftist I was disappointed in Biden because he wasn't competent enough to negotiate peace with China or try to restrain Israel's military tactics so they only target Hamas and not civilians.

I almost voted for Trump but went with Kamala Harris because I wasn't too comfy with Jan 6th or the other charges Trump had, despite liking some of his ideas. But Harris didn't have the most confident voice unlike other Dem candidates.

I might have actually preferred Trump winning in 2020 so the lockdown would end sooner. I had family members who got Covid and came out fine, it was only as harmful as flu. The lockdown should have only been for the immuno-compromised.

Glad you're ok. Even as an introvert I wasn't the happiest about isolation. I got too used to easy assignments from online class that I wasn't prepared for harder assignments post-lockdown. A lot of other people are using AI to do their stuff now, but I'd rather fail than cheat.

I took the opportunity to be less introverted and detox from connecting so much. I'm an adopted extrovert, which is much harsher than any Covid I had! Thanks for the concern.
