Was ist ein/eine Jelinek? Sie sprechen Deutsch?

I accidently posted this, and yes, I speak German. And Jelinek is my professor in school. My classmates don't really respect her, and keep talking like there's no teacher in our classroom and like we wouldn't have a lesson in that moment.

Since your teacher is female the second panel should be ‘keine Lehrerin in der Klasse’ right

I used "Lehrer" because it's the word the profession. Technically I could have used "Lehrer/in" or "LehrerIn" to gender it.
So... Are you German (and did I translate this into English all for nothing) or did you use a translator earlier?😅
