The classic mustang are the best

I think the Elenor from the Cage remake was earlier than a 73 (just checked, it was a 67). In the original version they had to steal several Elenors because of issues with insurance and other plot twists.

Original was an independent production. Most of the “extras” were just ordinary people doing their usual thing. A lot of people reported a car chase irl.
The remake was only made after the original guy’s widow (he died filming another movie, attempted sequel?) won a legal battle for rights to the film ad sold the rights to a remake. The story behind the original is pretty complex.
