One time in the Collector vs Edgyhead comic I wrote Collector actually was on the verge of death after he got jumped by Edgyhead and the Starving Egg, but Eggyhead showed up after using the Crystal of Creation to beat him and used a powerful spell to revive Collector but destroying himself in the process (he was brought back later by Omeletta and that's actually how they met)
