If you think about it, we are actually more mechanical than you think, we literally use carbon based materials as fuel, and the way we move is pushing and pulling forces, and our braincells have literal mini potassium batteries; Also with our DNA, our DNA literally acts like a computer's code, basically telling your cell's organelles what proteins to build, and a mutation is basically a bug / glitch.
