im bored asf so part 15

"Entries are scarce because I don't have another journal yet. Took the official permit test! Passed; missed 2.

Review of yesterday's practice:

- Nothing really, for once!

Yesterday

"A less-odd but weird dream from last night. It starts with me in this huge medieval looking church, like a cathedral or something. There's a well where the altar should be. I turn the crank to pull up a bullet of water. Inside the bucket is a squid with its tentacles wrapped around a golden crucifix. I pull the squid off the crucifix and throw it back into the well, then take the crucifix with me. After that, I can't remember.

I asked [REDACTED] about it because she knows a lot about dream psychology. She thinks the whole things represents gratefulness, with the squid representing something in my life stinging me emotionally. Very possible. I'm getting very lonely.

It might be possible to attempt lucid dreaming, but is it a good idea? Probably not. It's literally taking my conscious mind on a trip to my subconscious mind, which is likely an unfiltered hellhole of horrors beyond my comprehension."

9 AM: IEW. I'm in the middle of the room because the corners have been taken. My corners. I completely misunderstood the poetry assignment... oh well. Assignment contrasting characters in a work of fiction... have I read any fiction recently? A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is good... I'll contrast Zaphod Beeblebrok and Marvin the depressed robot. Maybe?

10 AM - 11 AM: No classes, catch up on HW. I still need to watch Episode 7 of WYW for Crimgov.

Noon: Art History. Ms. J is back. My heel hurts. Today we're looking at the Mona Lisa. We need vinegar and another jar.

1 PM: Chem. Ms. J (yes, there are so many) is teaching today. I feel very tired. Fermenting cucumbers have some bubbles on the surface of the brine. This is the first sign that fermentation has begun! Placed both samples in the fridge and took pictures.

"I have this awful fear that I'm just going to forget some key math concept or other. I need to get my head in the game and focus, or I will fail the class. Had a special guest in R&T talking about the grace-truth bridge, then later we cleaned out the garden bed and started building another one, without a shovel... so I improvised from a sign that was in the garden bed."

I've been having dreams for the last few days. This wouldn't be notable, except that [REDACTED] was in all of them. Not as the main focus nor as just a character in the background. Something like a supporting character. She was saying something in all of them, couldn't catch all of it but it sounded mysterious."
