Here's the drop for what happened to my OCs.

-Kit: After finding out she was infected, she intentionally put herself in a bunker and had James disable the internal handle, locking it behind him as he left, to avoid her spreading the infection. Kit's current state is unknown.

-Skai: infected by the virus by unknown means, but lashed out and attacked her fellow Thunderbolts soldiers, mauling or infecting a number of them, getting to Stage 4 before Jason impaled her with her own Katana and lit her up with a flamethrower.

-Andrew: Infected after being bitten. Currently at Stage 2.

-James: Uninfected. In a state of grief after losing Kit, and has since formed an alliance with Jason and Smudge. James utilizes the Iron Man armor when going outside to avoid being infected by breathing it in.

-Smudge: turns out living in the age of the Spanish Flu makes you have an immunity to an infection like this. He has kept using rail travel to get from place to place and get supplies. His original engine, a PRR M1 class, developed an overheated axlebox, and Smudge ditched it for Union Pacific FEF-3 #844, not able to make the repairs needed.

-Jason: almost got infected when Skai bit his hand, but amputated it on the spot in order to stop the spread (he has since gotten a bionic replacement). Jason has a kill-on-sight policy to all infected, and has a small arsenal of weapons, such as the War Machine armor. Surprisingly, Jason was the one who suggested an alliance between him, James and Smudge, viewing their skills as necessary for survival.

Also, may it be possible you draw what these look like in the AU? Including Skai and Kit?

Welp, time to do this

A idea i have for Kit is that perhaps they became this heavily mutated blind infected thats heavily durable and aggresive, but during the mutation process, her eyes went blind.

A few add-ons I forgot to mention:

-Smudge has learned how to fight from Jason, and is the main muscle of the trio. Some of the things he's nabbed over time are food, ammo, fuel oil and water.

-Jason has taken Skai's katana to use as his own, as well as lifting a hidden cache of Thunderbolts weapons to be used by lone operatives (a machete, bow and arrow, and sniper rifle)

-James: even though he's no scientist, he's been trying to find out about a cure for the illness, and thinks that Smudge's blood might be the key to it. His motivations for doing this are somewhat selfish, since his main plan is to use it to try and cure Kit.

(for reference, this is #844. It was likely chosen by Smudge due to being equipped with roller bearings on the axles, and having more pulling power and was faster)

X slowly was infected since both his advanced immune system and Tekai tried preventing it but he of course descended into madness after being infected for too long. Scar fought X and tried to kill him to put him out of his misery but he was too powerful. Halfway through the fight X's mother's spirit gave Scar her Katana to try and help him but it didn't get him much farther and he was killed. Tekai now just roams around planets while occasionally visiting X who tries to kill her. X stays in the Cathedral of Emily with the last bit of his sanity, hoping that the last Divine Being he can think of can save him. Emily does come over to the Cathedral and tries to figure out a cure using X who is (mostly) cooperative but she usually stays in Divine Heaven with her Angels and Paladin's, depressed because she couldn't save all those lives
