The people that he’s deporting are illegal. They’re breaking the law just by being in the country. There are legal avenues to becoming a U.S. citizen. Not coming over the border in mass numbers and trying to overwhelm the country.
He only sent the military in after the “protesters” became violent. After some of them started violently attacking ICE agents and started looting and setting buildings and vehicles on fire. They were far from “peaceful” at that point. The governor of California and mayor of L.A. refused to keep things under control. Trump wouldn’t have had to do it if they both did their jobs.
That “half a billion dollar birthday parade” is a long-planned celebration of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. It just coincidentally happens to be on the same day as Trump’s birthday.
