The panic necklace is really useful and before you say BOS is good for mage, you only get 20 mana which is not even good for early game. Cursed flame IS AMAZING due to its damage over time but in late game it gets overshadowed because of Acid Venom, whereas you can quick swap kidney stones (ichor bullets) for better ammo when playing ranger. And Brain of Cthulu is actually easy, for summoner atleast (also easy for melee and ranged but idk about mage). 8 defense is not that much in hardmode but provides a good kick and putrid scent's bonus doesnt really impact you (5% damage and crit chance doesnt really help much imo). Chain Guillotines are MILES better than fetid baghnakhs, try to convince me.
