but also kinda the timeline / lore is more screwey than the sonic or MCU timeline, but imo I think everything is canon. (except for afterlife and frozen empire, I haven't watched those 2 yet those 2 SUCK); it's official, Ghostbusters 2 is good, but not as good as the original
