Thing is, from what I've heard it's a transphobic movie disguised as a trans pride movie

About that movie, it’s a musical about a Mexican trans woman, but it received a lot of hate bc it contains false stereotypes about trans people and Mexicans
Also the music sucks (especially a song named La Vaginoplastia)

The craziest part: Despite all the stereotypes the movie contains, it was nominated for 13 Oscars

Emilia Perez is the industry plant of films. Like, the clips I've seen are ahh, and the singing is not good. But I haven't watched it.
