Yeah since he's a Xylone which have some pretty high immune systems and he's got the Nova which saved him a little, his brain is in a bit better shape than others

So his body is most likely messed up by a lot due to the gorey mutations but his mind is somewhat there, however fragmented and he still has the urges to kill anyone on sight
