These pieces of information are not crucial to the story, but can help clear up confusion.
Waking/Sleeping Periods: The Nexus does not have a sun. This was a decision I made very far down the line, but I'm sticking with it. However, this means there's no day or night, so sleeping and waking periods are different in different settlements, villages, etc. Since communication between communities isn't a high priority, there are no universal time zones or anything, just voted-on time periods to be rest or be productive.
Genderless Creatures: Okay, so basically most of the creatures in the Nexus don't have any sort of genitalia or sexes or any of that juicy biological stuff. They run off magic and spite and they mainly just pop into existence in set areas. Yeah, it's not supposed to make sense. But yeah, they don't have quite the concept of gender we humans do.
The Magic System: So like, I'll prolly go more in depth in the story but basically there are lil magic generating spirits that I call wisps and they wanna help people, so there's that ig
