ICE has been caught on camera detaining immigrants while they were waiting for their asylum court hearing. Asylum seekers are a type of immigrant coming to a country legally because their old country was unsafe to live in. They were legal immigrants going to their court hearing. So yes, he is deporting legal immigrants as well. In fact, theres a case of a dude who had to be sent back to America because he was falsely deported.

Most asylum seekers were not in fact fairly "legal immigrants" when they all originated from Mexico and Central America. In that case asylum seeking is a horrible excuse. Asylum is meant for refugees escaping warzones. Mexico and Central America is absolutely not a warzone. It's a system abused by several aliens to justify them illegally immigrating into the United States.
