Theory: The animatronics were based on German science and William Afton worked with Nazis
Stroheim met with some British bois and they were interested in this German science. So Stroheim collaborated with the Brits (smh) and the animatronics were invented. After WW2 however, and after Stalingrad, the animatronics were no longer used for military and were used as entertainment robots.
However, because they were already military robots, Fredbear was powerful enough to bite a child. William Afton then used German science to kill kids.
Henry and William were actually working with Nazis and were the ones to ive Stroheim his cyborg body. After Battle Tendency, they moved to America, unsure of what to do. Then, Henry made Fredbear’s during the 80s and then Freddy’s. William, being a bitch, still uses military robots for animatronics, because he loves killing.
