It's not an age thing really

i mean age can alter which songs you hear, like on the radio, or spotify, etc

Yeah but bigger age gap does, someone 3 years older than you would have grown up with the same songs you did pretty much

for example: my grandpa grew up in the 60s, so he only listens to 1960s music, and I
listen to music from the 1980s up until now because my mom grew up in the 80s and 90s

plus i like songs from the last four decades everything before that is mid or terrible
