Literally anyone will criticise something and some DUMBASS will say “let people enjoy things” when the criticism isn’t even hate or something that bad. You know what, I will give you an example with Forsaken

Let’s say Charles says that C00lkidd’s Walkspeed Override should be nerfed. And then there’s gonna be like 40 people telling going to say “Let people enjoy it” or “Me when I hate on something that has done nothing to me” and it’s just a statement of criticism about something, there’s no hate. Just . A. Statement.

And how do I know this? Msmg says it to me whenever I criticise anything

when someone uses that statement, they basically try and shut down your criticism of something and never address anything about your original statement and how valid it may or may not be
they never mean it like "others like it, stop being a dick", they almost always mean it like "i like it and you suck for not liking it too"
it's such a stupid shield against (usually valid) criticism of something or an objective opinion that is completely fine
you should like and enjoy things, but you should also express criticism if it is lacking in some parts.
like, if you are just being a prick about something, then fine, the statement is overused, but valid
but just a general opinion and criticism of something shouldn't deserved to be shut down by a statement idiots on the internet use to protect what they like

Yeah, I can imagine someone saying it after I say that I dislike forsaken becuse everone is over-skilled and that the gameplay does not intrest me. I just don't like the fact killers ALWAYS get me, like they target me. What am I suppost to do? If I use all my run stamina, they will kill me. If I won't run, I die. Hide? HIDE WHERE? EVERYWHERE IT PRETTY MUCH OPEN PLACE! And being a killer was absolute worst of my gamepley. I couldn't even scratch anyone, even tho everone literary around me in circle. I was gping absolut nuts and everone was just standing and dodging all my attacks like Sans. 😭
