im fine with animals that are highly intelligent (like dolphins, chimpanzees, octopuses)
and animals that arent entirely selfish and can have genuine good relationships with humans (like dogs, cats, rabbits)
but most animals tend to be egoists and only focused on themselves and i dont really mind if something like a cow is slaughtered for food. not that i want all animals to become extinct either, and i think preserving the environment is more important anyway as long as both the environment and humans aren't put at risk
