"Also, [REDACTED] is back after being gone for what was just two weeks but felt much longer. I really missed her, and said as much.

One concerning thing, though. Apparently there's a new "hot" guy at her work. I can't help but be a teensy bit - ok, maybe a bit more than a teensy bit - jealous.

Y'know that saying: 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder'? It's true. I already was fond of her, but now... I don't really know what I feel, nor how to describe it. It's... stronger, I guess. But not overpowering and soul-consuming like it was with HER.

I dunno. I'm not being melodramatic when I say I've never felt this way about anyone before."
