That is a pretty tough one

The thing about enemy variants in Super Mario RPG is that they're sometimes completely different names, but still befitting of the enemy's appearance
Like there's a pink Hobgoblin variant called Straw Head
There's a grey Jawful variant called Forkie
There's a blue Crusty variant called Star Cruster

This thing is a boss in Stringsnipper, its battle is styled like an Earthbound battle

It's actually in one of the most epic and dramatic parts of the game

What’s happening at this part of the story?

It's in the Puppet Palace (the castle of the Puppeteer)
Lian's party members have been kidnapped by the Puppets and taken to the castle
You have to save them one by one
There's this big room with six doors, each door leads to a random gauntlet that has a party member at the end waiting to be rescued
One of those gauntlets is a three-part quiz show run by an evil version of Jex
And the final round is the battle against Serverberus
