So this is saying that someone who was racist in 1960, telling a person of color to use a non-white toilet, is the same kind of person who would tell a dude to use the guys bathroom nowadays, because she doesn’t want him in the bathroom with her or her daughter? How is this even comparable?

Yes, because it’s still discrimination. The same people who don’t want change then, don’t want change now. And think about that last part for a minute. Do you think somebody would go to all of that surgery and therapy, just to enter the other bathrooms? If a man is going to enter the woman’s bathroom, he’s just going to do it. And by the way, you can’t “always tell” because if a trans woman walked into the men’s bathroom, they wouldn’t want her in there either
