I had hamsters as a child in the '80's and I had one then got him a friend. He was no friend. I heard a lot of noise in their cage one night shortly after getting the second one. Was half asleep and figured they were playing or something. Got up the next morning to find the older one dead with his nose chewed off then the other one died the next day. Got a gerbil after that but I've heard that hamsters are savages😔
