The 3 or 4 from SCTV. When I was a rookie, the troupe was playing at a resort in the town I worked in. Someone had stolen Catherine O'Hara's purse and I went to take the report.

John Candy, Joe Flaherty, Harold Ramis, and Eugene Levy were the 4 from SCTV. I love SCTV. That must’ve pretty cool to meet those guys, especially John Candy.

It was a hoot and a half. 😂 And they were 'on' 24/7. Except Andrea... She was kinda quiet and reserved off stage.

Those guys were great. SCTV was such a classic show. Some of the funniest stuff I’ve ever seen. Even better than SNL was during that same time period.

Oh, I'd rank them far superior to SNL.

You’re right. They were by far the best of the whole bunch. I could list all of my favorite characters, but I’d run out of room. John Candy is my favorite.
