Here's some reality:

War is not a holy religious concept.

Deception is a part of war, and it needs to be a part of war. Otherwise, you're allowing your enemy to kill your people for no reason at all, except to allow the enemy to win the war.

The "good guys" have used wartime deceptions throughout history. Read up on how deceptions were used on the Nazis and Japanese during WW2. Most of those deception operations have been declassified and are available in the public domain.

As for the Mossad, most of their deceptions are conducted against vicious terrorists. So the more deception operations the Mossad conducts, the more lives they save.

I wish it wasn't so.

I wish we lived in a world of peace and brotherhood.

I wish people listened to the sermons expounding the power and glory of love, given by Jesus, Martin Luther King Jr, and many others.

But unfortunately, that's not our world.

We'll always have war because it's a part of us. Human beings might mature into a race of reason, sanity, and justice, but those of us on Earth now will never live to see that day. Such a journey will probably take thousands of years.

I'm a veteran of two wars, and I've seen war up close. War is as insane and stupid as a knife fight between two lunatics.

But don't give up hope.

I sense that you'll be a voice of sanity in this crazy world, and you'll probably make things just a little bit better. So you can't give up on that.
