don’t kill me but George Lucas isn’t that great of a director

He’s good, and a great story writer. Directing just isn’t his strong suit.

George is the goat, the new directors are what's trash.

Actually the direction in episodes 7 and 8 is their best attributes. It’s the writing and Disney’s corporate interference that makes those movies awful.

Well of course, that's what I mean: Disney ruins everything.

Yorgos Lanthimos made The Lobster, The Favorite, and my favorite movie, Poor Things
Wes Anderson made The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums, and is known for creating a whole ass genre
Quentin Tarantino made Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, Django Unchained, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
That's just to name a few
