I spent the Bidens years talking youth out of serving in the woke military. I was recently asked by a nephew if he should join and I told him I recommend anyone wait for a few more years. Give Hegseth time to take out the trash at the top and for the trainers to rewrite everything, remove all traces of DEI and then we may build a military worthy of sacrifice. Unless I see real change, senior dims held accountable, I will dismiss all claims that things have changed. Actions matter, not words and promises.

The military is still full of moonbats in "leadership" positions, and useless, entrenched (in the abstract sense only) DEI hires.

Unfortunately, the military will be rid of most DEI hires -- who generally contribute nothing to a unit / organization -- only when they retire. Of course, that's many years from now.

I agree and that's why I tell the youth to wait. Although I have been out for years now, many of my friends are still in and tell me things really haven't changed much.
