My 2000 Olds Allero, the vehicle that took me home from the hospital, that I inherited as my first car, that I’ve driven since 2021, that I drove from Kansas to New York with, that has served my family loyally for nearly 25 years… has unfortunately broken down and is now unusable.

I’m gonna need some time to process this. It’s all happened so fast.

Talk it over with some trusted ones, see if you can get something of memory of the car, and just don't let your feelings drag you down too much

i don’t get the attachment with cars, but i guess i’ll pay my condolences to a reloable car (most usually last for only 8-12 years tops)
