The Divine Immortal chapter 7: Hero’s Call (this is the unedited version)

After the Collector’s meeting with Creatie, as The Collector, his first thoughts immediately turns to his adopted daughters, and he opens a portal into the realm of Creation. The Collector enters the chamber where his daughters are partaking in a unique artistic activity. He sees Inkmatas making a fire sculpture in the air concentrating on making it flowery design with her green fiery magic. Hakai is at a easel with a paper canvas and Rizu stands nervously behind her girlfriend waiting to extinguish any fire.

“Hakai I love your artistic ability but isn’t this too dangerous?” Rizu feared

“Don’t worry nothing will erupt in flames!” Inkmatas concentrated

The three young ladies don’t notice the Collector enter the room.

“Inkmatas, Hakai, there is an urgent matter I must discuss with you!” The Collector exclaimed, “Head to the ancient library, I’ll explain more when everyone’s there”

Hakai and Inkmatas nod. Inkmatas, Hakai, and Rizu walk to the ancient library. The Collector notices Rizu walking with Hakai.

“Rizu, I am not asking this of you as this will be extremely dangerous!” The collector warned

“Where Hakai goes, I go!” Rizu quickly responded

“So be it!” The Collector said, “By the way Hakai, do you know where Astra is?”

“Astra is in the game room!” Hakai said

The Collector nods and walks over to the game room. He spots Astra, Data, and Terra all playing a racing game when the Collector looks at Astra.

“Astra, my child, I have an important mission for you” The Collector said, “I need you to find these 3 heroes!”

The Collector hands Astra a data file. Astra plugs the data file into herself, quickly scans the data, and calculates the data.

“I will not fail you dad!” Astra said as she exited the room.

Data and Terra both spring up and both look at the Collector.

“What do we do, Dad?” Data and Terra said

“I need you two to look after the realm of creation!” The Collector said

“Wait, why are you acting like there’s a chance you might not return, is this dangerous?” Data questions

“Undoubtably” The Collector responds

As the Collector exits the room, he starts to ponder whose lives he will be forced to accept losing in the divine mission, The Collector realizes he must consult long time allies with experience. The Collector soon opens a portal and walks through.

Meanwhile in the Andromedan kingdom, King Xander and Queen Rea are having a spiritual debate of foreign policy about rising tensions from the Bloodhawkian revolution as well as which ice cream delivery device is better… cone or cup.

“how are you going to win the hearts and minds of the people after having to dispose of a dirty paper cup after sharing a delicious dessert.” Rea exclaims quite displeased with her husband

“it’s better than having your dessert leak out of your cone on to your royal attire, how can you possibly greet dignitaries when you have turtle shortcake smeared all over your frock?!” Xander quips with a silly intent

“You’re not taking this seriously!!” Rea exclaims again

“I always take turtle shortcake seriously!” Xander jokes

A creation blue portal opens at the far end of the royal chambers. Xander quickly puts his helmet back on as he gets into a defensive stance. The Collector walks out of the portal and Xander takes a second before he lowers his blade.

“This must be important that you appear unannounced in our throne room” Xander said

“I apologize my royals for my dramatic entrance but I am not exaggerating when I mean the fate of the multiverse is at risk” The Collector said

“Where do you need our aid?!” Rea said

“Please meet me in the ancient library inside Realm of Creation!” The Collector requests, “By the way Xander, do you know where Nova’s location is?”

“I can’t exactly pinpoint Nova’s location due to his wish for privacy but if you must then he is probably resting at an isolated village in the Pinecone star system and that’s where he likes to relax alone” Xander answered the Collector, “You should ask the villagers where he specifically is!”

The Collector nods to Xander and he turns to the Queen

“And my lady, where is the Angel and her family?” The Collector requests

“Of course, they’re at their home back at the Inkverse” Rea said

“Thank you both and I’ll rendezvous back at the library soon” The Collector said as he leaves back through his portal

“Have you ever seen him that worried?” Xander questions Rea

“Rallying us, Nova, and Amber.. what kind of threat could this be?” Rea worried

Meanwhile the Collector portals outside of a village on the Pinecone star system.

The Collector walks into town looking for the powerful Nova. The Collector only seen knowing Nova few from battle walks the streets from home to home, the villagers stare bewildered at the large figure.

The Collector walks to a elderly villager and greets the villager kindly. The villager looks puzzled and responds in a language he hasn’t learnt yet. The Collector asks a few other villagers around but they all respond in the same foreign language.

“Normally this would be exciting to discover a undocumented foreign language but I’ve making zero progress” The Collector said

Suddenly The Collector feels a abundance of cosmic energy flow through him. The Collector looks toward a hut near a large lake outside the village. The Collector quickly run over to the hut, the villagers look on in shock. Soon the Collector arrives just outside the hut and knocks on the door.

“…”

The Collector keeps knocking on the door, confident in his senses, when he hears a voice exclaim to him

“Leave me be!”

“Nova this is urgent, and I must speak to you!” The Collector exclaims, “The fate of the multiverse is at stake!”

Suddenly the door slams open and Nova stares at the Collector in frustration from the disturbance.

“What do you want?!” Nova agitatedly said

“The multiverse is under threat by a god-like creature!” The Collector said

“I’m not getting involved in your ego-fulfilling crusades to police the multiverse!” Nova yells, “I was only with you at the battle of Thrull because this part of the cosmos was at direct risk of his empire. The village and myself would only care to be left alone, I am not interested in your god’s politics!”

“This threat, if left unchecked, will engulf the entire multiverse in chaos including your so precious village” The Collector retorted

“I sense no such threat only pride” Nova snarks

“If you come to your senses then visit us at the ancient library in the Realm of Creation” The Collector pleads

“If I ever need you, you’ll know” Nova said as he slams the door behind him

The Collector scoffs and regains his poise. Soon the Collector leaves to continue his quest. As the Collector travels through the portal to his next destination, he thinks to himself.

“Without Nova, this will be more difficult” The Collector thought as he ignored the insults hurled by the cosmic being.

The Collector soon arrives to the modest home of the Angel, Amber and the Shaped warrior, Byrd. The Collector appears in front of balcony, before the Collector could announce himself, Byrd stretches his arm out to open the balcony door.

“Ah Collector, Amber said you were here!” Byrd said

“Where’s Amber, we need to talk” The Collector requests

She is downstairs with her sister, c’mon in I’ll take you to her” Byrd invites the Collector

Byrd and the Collector Walk downstairs to see Amber and her sister Peyton are playing with Amber and Byrd’s small child. As Byrd opens the door, The Collector hears a child say

“Auntie Peyton, make me levitate again!” A small child exclaims

“Now Ethan, can you give us some space please, please go to your room and practice your spells!” as Amber gently persuades Ethan

“Honey the Collector arrived as you thought” Byrd announced

“You were expecting me?” The Collector curiously said

“I sensed that a divine plan was being set in motion so I expected you to arrive with something crucial” Amber said

“I need you two, Amber and Byrd to fight alongside me on this divine mission” The Collector offered

“As a warrior of the heavens, it is my responsibility to answer all divine calls to action.” Amber heroically accepted

“I will be happy to join with my love” Byrd chirps in

“I will come too” Peyton asserts herself

“This will be extremely dangerous.. are you sure about this?” The Collector warns

Peyton levitates in the compact room as her eyes glow a heretical orange, the room cries in agony as Peyton makes the Collector know that she will not accept no an answer.

“Very well please follow me” The Collector beckons as he opens a portal

Soon they all arrive back in the ancient library. Astra greets the Collector and gleefully informs him that they have completed their mission. The Collector nods and enters a large conference room.

“EVERYONE PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!” The Collector announces, “We are going to devise a plan against this growing threat!”

The 13 heroes enter the room including the three members that Astra had brought in. Saike, the Blood manipulator, The ancient machine, Sparky, and member of the Bloodhawkian revolutionaries, Mirai.

“This quest has been laid to us by my Goddess, Creatie who wants us to stop this tyrant from being unchecked of power and becoming a major multiversal threat, this tyrant has already defeated gods and has stolen their power, but do not fret as this tyrant is just a man.” The Collector rallied, “He can be defeated by the some of the greatest heroes across the multiverse.”

Suddenly the TV cuts in with an emergency broadcast.

“We interrupt this program for terrifying news, several planetoids and moons have been discovered to be carved out of the rock itself, these landmarks such as the great unity trees have been removed from the star systems, whole species of fauna have disappeared from their environments, and the great everstine mountain of planet BLD164 has appeared to have been destroyed” The news flash reports

Astra points their hand at the tv and lowers the volume. Murmurs and whispers can be heard throughout the heroes.

“What powers were stolen exactly?” Mirai questions the Collector

“What type of creature are we up against?” Xander worries, “This sounds more like a kaiju than a man?!”

“This doesn’t sound like heresy, this isn’t blood manipulation, this isn’t a multi-galactic empire so what powers are we dealing with” Rea said

“All my goddess knows is that this tyrant has power over creation and destruction although what we are hearing makes me believe that he has more than just those two” The Collector warns

“How is getting he getting from location to location so quickly, our starship and most advanced portal technologies are not capable of these speeds” Inkmatas worried, “Those landmarks are hundreds of gigaparsecs apart from each other but the news made it sound like he did it in a day”

“Who knows what else this man has done that hasn’t been reported yet” The heroes discuss

“Do we even know where he is, this pattern is so random I can’t see a link” Sparky panics

Suddenly a portal opens. Creatie walks out of the portal and looks over at the collection of heroes.

“We all the reasons to believe that he has beaten the major guardians of powerful stones but I have reason to know where he is” Creatie offers

“Even Soulis?!” Mirai asks

“How do you know of him, child?” Creatie asks

“I was supposed to be the guardian of the Geode but I could not wield the power sufficiently but Soulis was more noble and brave than I could ever be?” Mirai said, So are you saying Soulis has been defeated as well?”

“I only know that I can feel multiple stones in harmony in the same being” Creatie responds, You were all summoned to confront him because the multiverse needs you to”

Creatie opens a vast portal leading to the heroes fate.
