Suit pants are a big problem in modern suits, they’re too skinny and too short. I personally blame Millennial designers making them dorky. The lighting in the image is not good but the jacket seems to be well cut, I’ll give him that. If you’re ever buying a suit, make sure the pants fit you the way I’ve described above, and make sure they don’t taper, they should be straight. And the transition from the main jacket to the sleeve should be smooth, like on this guy’s jacket. Beware of jackets with a big clumsy lip on the shoulder seam. The best quality suits are a bit expensive, but you can get a $2,000 Saks Fifth Avenue suit for $600 at Off Fifth. Still steep but a huge discount.
