Alright. I personally cannot judge (as i have not seen the X and Y animes), however you can’t say that the sun and moon animes wasn’t pretty fire. I mean, Ash caught a MYTHICAL for Pete's sake. Lillie had a shiny Magearna, too, and it was the first pokemon anime series to feature every pokemon in the respective generation. And for the journeys anime, it wasn’t as good (especially in the art department) but you can’t say that it wasn’t a satisfying conclusion to Ash’s journey.
