I personally would think that before the big bang, all the matter was just in a neutral state of not doing anything and being so spread out that it wouldn't form anything

But the big bang was a nucleus of sorts that matter could form itself around

But that doesn't make sense, why would all the matter be in the perfect position to form everything, everything in its so perfect balance
