Life in the U.S.
Sometimes it’s fun, sometimes they play
But it could never be better
Than life in the U.K.
Life in the U.S.
They may laugh, they may cheer
But all they really want
Are the ones they hold dear
Life in the U.S.
They’re not so nice, they’re not so clear
But all the adults care about
Are loads and loads of beer
Life in the U.S.
They might be rude, they might break
But the only stuff they like to eat
Are lots and lots of steak
Life in the U.S.
Yes it’s boring, yes it’s hard
And the loud postal services
Don’t always bring back cards
Yes this is America
No boys in girls’ sports
Yes the president may suck
And no, you can’t get an abort
Yes this is America
The place they call home
But is it really home
If we’re practically living in a dome?
