well you get a lot out of it tho
you learn how to manage your time, how to manage your needs and wants and also how to maintain postive realtionships with others while still focousing on studying a person once told me that in grade 9 ib you learn grade 10 stuff and in grade 10 ib you learn grade 11 stuff and its lthe same in every grade. you're a year ahead and its really helpful to get into colleges
