Imagine your dad leaves, and then your other dad leaves.

Some people don’t have a dad, so I can see how 2 dads can piss others off

gonna come in clutch with the science
not supporting gay parents is a good thing. They simply cannot provide adequate support and nurturing to a child. Children need a mother and a father.
here's the link πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘‰ https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4771005/

you know, maybe that it isnt having gay parents is the cause of this, maybe its because of the sheer amount of bullying said children receive BECAUSE they have gay parents, correlation, not causation. and for this point, thats not how science works you need more than one study to prove a point and probably a sample group bigger than 138, maybe shoot for around 1000+ for some decent data, and maybe a few orders of magnitude bigger to be safe, stop giving science a bad name with your peddling of half truths

try reading the article that is linked before accusing me of giving science a bad name and selling lies :)

These studies mostly focus on how the lack of a mother AND a father cause many psychological issues that carry into adulthood, not how bullying affects kids with gay 'parents'. Many, many children and teens get bullied in all grade levels, and most of them grow up fine. Maybe it's because the ones that do fine have a loving, supportive, mum and dad

thats cool and all but the only one with any sort of decent data is no 10 and even then it has a single source to back it up, you literally only read the first sentence, and a lot of these link emotional problems with having gay parents, but it never goes into detail on why this is, none of the studies use an explanation in the little blurb that this "study" uses, lets say i publish a study that six spotted tiger beetles are dying out faster than northern dune tiger beetles (Fictional Scenario) somebody could use that to say that six spotteds arent as good as hunters than the northern dune, but in my paper i stated that six spotteds have lost a lot of their marshland habitat and thats why they have been dyng out quicker, but because i put that in a later paragraph, the person making the not has good hunters argument could easily ignore that

also i didnt say you were selling lies i said you were selling half truths, witholding some of the info so it fits what your arguing, and i read no 7 and it said they studied single parents, adopted parents, gay parents, and hetro parents, and yet it only gives statistics on the last two.

"These studies mostly focus on how the lack of a mother AND a father cause many psychological issues that carry into adulthood, not how bullying affects kids with gay 'parents'." as i said in a different one, no they don't, just using info on how kids with gay parents are worse off mentally, not for the multitude of other reasons that happens, maybe its because they receive more bullying, or maybe gay parents are not good parents, or maybe some of the studies are giving false info

they're well done scientific studies that i think are true. what you wanna believe is your choice. go beef with someone else if you wanna validate your feelings

"theyre well done studies" *proceeds to ignore the points i made about how these are bad studies* "Validate your feelings" guess all the arguments i made based in logic are invalid because all im trying to "Validate my feelings", totally reasonable conclusion.

I'm not sure why this is such a surprise lmao. We're genetically designed to have parents of opposite gender, so it's literally going against our biology πŸ’€

Most people just hate reality- It's understandable I guess, but that doesn't mean you can turn yourself into a platypus just because "I feel that way".

I think it's because there's no real hardship in their lives. Easy times make soft people.
But yeah I completely agree.
