Mine demanding that I turn on the water slightly so he can watch the water run down the drain and listen to it while he purrs and I pet him. He doesn't always drink and has a purified fountain but does this to test our obedience and Turkish Angoras are known tyrants. One time he was given a drink from the sink after getting him & he liked it so it became a tyranny. It got so bad we quit for years since he insisted multiple times a day and did what he knew we didn't want him to do so we'd give in. After 4 yrs the turd still tried then my uncle visited and didn't know this so he weaseled him into it so we gave up and just obey. He sometimes drinks and sometimes puts his head under the water and has tried to get in shower with me. Turkish cats enjoy water. 9t7slv.jpg (click to show)

That’s a beautiful cat that you’ve got there. He sounds like a rascal. I’ve got 2 cats, a tuxedo and grey/white/black female tabby. Neither one will drink out of the faucet. The female will jump up on the kitchen sink every once in a while and stick her nose up to it when it’s running but won’t drink from it.
