i have this way that ive been telling people. however ive never gotten any feedback (that i remember) on how well it works.
start by telling your parents that you have a freind (in your case) that is bi.
continue about talking how they should aproach their parrents.
if they dissaprove this "freind" then you know you shoulden't come out.
then say, something along te lines of "i can stop being freind with this freind if you want".
this is one of the worst situations.

if they give you good feedback, remeber it. its going to be important for later.
then say, "if you were in their parents position, would you aprove of them?"
if they respond positively then use that feedback they told you.
if they respond negatively then you should play it off; "okay, ill tell them that advice."
if they respond in a septical tone, play to the atmosphere and the prior if statments.

the main idea of it is to lure them into helping you tell them that your bi.
just for more clarity at the end just say that you were that freind.

i realise now after qriting this whole thing that you didnt express spesificaly a desire for this. sorry if i was mistaken.

well, even though im am outwardly aroace, i think i might be able understand how this situation should be played.

first of all, hang around them, the more you know each other the better. speed is really important here.
dont come on too quickly. it may seem simple thinking about it but you should still try and monitor your speed.
one way you can check this is by picking up cues. like if they are shying away, slow down, but not too much as to letting them think you are ditching them.
slow is much less risky.
before you ask them out you should try to figure if they are into you. this can start by seeing if they are bi/gay. which if you act queer and they are queer then they could open up to you.

again, im no profetional. so do what feels right to you. but keep these in mind

thanks for the help once again. I did at one point move a little bit to fast but we still are comfortable with acother and I do think he is gay/bi so it may still work. Thanks so much!!
