You can make this your dream project. You can start at step one for each main 3 elements of the game. By this, I mean practice your art, music, and coding until you're good enough to make the game. It will take time.

Also there's a 4th element, story telling. I suggest practicing this too since it's important.

I mean, sure! I just thought it would suck to have to constantly request someone to make sprites, but you can if you want!

I can if you need me to, but this is why a lot of games have entire teams working on sprite work

I didn’t know that about gamemaker. I’m using gamemaker, but I was thinking of uploading to gamejolt when I’m done.
I could help with sprites, possibly. I’m not the best in the world, but I do a decent job. Music though… tbh, I don’t know how to make original music either.

What you could do is search up the Gamemaker tutorials and use Godot with those tutorials if they're not too different.

As for art? I also suck at art. It took a hell of a lot of practice for me to get dragons down, and I still can't do a front view. All I can really say here is practice A LOT.

Music? Beepbox. It's really good for music, and your music is yours, no copyright and no credits needed. I never worked with a beepbox mod before, but Spoonsamurai uses Ultrabox and everyone else here uses base Beepbox and look what they're cooking. My tip, beepbox-wise, is set the drop down that says "easy :)" on it to say "expert" bc that opens up all the spaces.

Question, though, what is your game?

So basically, It's gonna be a game based of Flare. He's gonna own a restaurant where you have to cook food, obtain recipes, etc. It's also gonna be an RPG like undertale, with pacifist, neutral, and geno respectively. I plan on adding a lot to do in it.
