Public Enemy chapter 3: The Duel

Matt and Eren stand in front of each other, ready to fight each other. The tension is high with the two getting into fighting stances.
Eren: You really made a name for yourself these past couple days, huh Matt?
Matt: What? You jealous?
He says, cracking his knuckles. Eren laughs a bit, taking humor in his response.
Eren: If I was forced to live here for the rest of my life, I'd say no. But enough chit chat. I was promised a party, I’m gonna get one!
She says rushing in as Matt adjust his bandana with a smile
Matt: That depends if you can keep up.
Eren throws a punch at Matt who quickly dodges the attack and goes in for an uppercut, but she quickly jumps into the air and lands a drop kick onto his face, Matt gets knocked back and into the wall as Eren dashes up and delivers another blow to his face, breaking the wall and sending him flying into the streets. He lands onto the ground and gets Orobas out, using it to support himself as Eren tauntingly walks up to him.
Eren: What's wrong? Little Matt got a boo boo?
She chuckled to herself until she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her torso. Behind her was Matt holding Orobas as if he just finished an attack. Eren’s sweater was cut in half with a red mark on her stomach.
Eren (in mind): Wow… my eyes didn’t even catch that attack…
Matt (in mind): I cut straight through her… that's some regeneration…
Eren takes out her guns and starts shooting at Matt rapidly. He reacts quickly and somersaults out of the way and dashes up, parrying the bullets with his sword before sheathing and punching Eren in the gut and then uppercutting her, sending them both in the air. Matt then follows up by grabbing her face and throwing her into the ground, but she backflips and recovers, firing once more at Matt, knocking him into a building, completely destroying it. Once the building crashes down to the ground, the debris falls around the streets as Eren points at the rubble with a smile.
Eren: I think it’s about time we settle this.
A red aura bursts from the damage and smoke as a distorted voice calls out
Matt: That’s right…
He waves his hands as the smoke clears to reveal him already taking on this form.
Matt: Come on.
He reverses his grip on Orobas as the blade charges up purple energy. He then, with great force, swipes the tip of the blade at the ground, making a purple shockwave that’s sent towards Eren. She quickly jumps out of the way only to get met by two more shockwaves that seemingly hit her.

An explosion is created upon contact at Matt tries to see if she’s still alive, but then he hears a voice behind him
Eren: Swing and miss!
She kicks Matt from the back of his head, making him crash into the area Eren was at. However he rebounds off the building with a kick and stabs Eren in the chest, followed by a swing, crashing her into the ground. He then started bashing her head into the ground with all his might, breaking her skull and ribcage until she was red mist… it seems like the fight was over but Matt turned around and sat on a piece of debris, waiting. He holds one of his hands up towards the body in annoyance and yells out
Matt: You can get up now! I know you’re still alive.
Eren: But I was just getting comfy!
She says regenerating her wounds. She gets back up without a single scar in her body. She starts doing some stretches as Matt stands there, turning off PA. After a couple minutes, Eren jumps in place and gets back into a fighting stance.
Eren: Alright. Round two… and no bullshit final forms this time, capisce?
Matt: Fine…
He says drawing his blade with a smile on his face. The two rush at each other with all their might, ready to determine the fate of their opponents. Meanwhile Satan is looking through a stained glass window, observing the soldiers march through the hellgate, until an Imp crashes through the door with urgent news.
Imp: S-sir! We have something you should worry about!
Satan: Speak.
Imp: W-well remember when that Yokai thing granted your wish? We found the exception… A man by the name of… Actually we never got his name… Orange hair guy, looks like he’s been through the wringer, uses a revolver? He even killed Titan…
The head demon perks up and turns to the imp with confusion. He then starts thinking about who that could be until it hits him.
Satan: …Fox. He was in the underworld when the wish was made so it wouldn’t have affected him… Very well, bring him to me, and then we’ll settle the matter.
He turns back around but the Imp speaks up again.
Imp: Uh… sir…? Why do you hate this Kingsman so much? And your daughter seems to hate him even more.
Satan: …You’re new here, aren’t you?
Imp: Well yes… I just transferred here recently…
Satan turns back at him, and then turns back to the window, beginning to recount the tale.

Satan: It was going so well. We had a plan to rule a part of the mortal realm. The cult opened the hellgate, and we swarmed the area at night… but one man… a Kingsman… he slaughtered every single one of my men. All 5 million of them, in one night. It took us months to be reborn. And the worst part? He didn’t even have a hint of supernatural abilities. And Orobas has gone missing afterwards. And if that man was able to destroy my entire army, my headliners, and myself… What could his descendant do…
The Imp stares at him in disbelief but he nods.
Imp: Yeah no I see the idea. Kill that guy, you can move the mortal realm. Got it.
The Imp leaves to regroup with the army, who are charging through the hellgate
Satan: The Sapiens have no idea what's coming their way…
He says staring back at the window.
Satan: It’s only a matter of time before the main event begins.
Back in the mortal realm, Matt and Eren are still fighting. Matt would move faster than Eren could ever manage to comprehend, her heightened senses not reacting fast enough. She tries firing multiple energy bullets at Matt, and in response, he throws Orobas at her like a frisbee, the handle and blade deflecting the bullets away as Eren quickly dodges the attack.
Eren: if you expected that to hit me, I’m sorry to dissa-
Matt: I didn’t.
He says appearing behind her and grabbing her into a suplex. He then pushes himself with his legs to flip over, just to do another suplex, and then another one, until he lets her go and plops her on the floor and walks away… only to turn back the second she gets up and dropkicks her into some debris. Matt started to catch his breath as he walked away and sat on a rock, looking down at his bloodied hands… until he heard a gun click. He looks up and sees Eren standing there with a gun pointed at his forehead.
Eren: You ran out of stamina. I can kill you right now if I wanted to.
She says as the two just stare at each other… but to Matt’s surprise, she puts the gun away.
Eren: But nah. I can’t have my leader die. That wouldn’t make me a good second in command, And definitely not a good friend
Matt: H-hey wait… You don’t have your memories erased?
Eren: Why would I?
Matt slaps her across the face and stands up
Matt: You f**king idiot! We could have avoided that whole fight this entire time?!
Eren: Of course! It’s not everyday I get to fight “the godhuman” at “full power”!
Matt falls back down onto the rock, putting his hands over his face before laughing like a mad man.

Matt: never change Eren
He says calming himself down. Eren helps him up and responds
Eren: I’ll try not to.
She says before remembering something. She points to Orobas, which is laying on the floor.
Matt: Oh right, him. I hope he’s okay.
He says running over and grabbing the blade. Suddenly multiple demons swarm around them, holding scythes and other various weapons.
Nobody 1: Another traitor?! Wow the boss is NOT gonna be happy when he hears about this.
Nobody 2: Whatever! We can just kill them and pretend they never existed!
Nobody 1: Oh yeah. Good plan!
The demons land, surrounding Matt and Eren as he starts counting off all of the demons. Eren puts a hand on his shoulder and heals him up in order to regain his stamina.
Eren: How many?
Matt: Like… 50 to 60 thousand… Not even close to a fair fight.
Eren: Alright then. Care to join me for my victory lap?
Matt: YOUR victory lap?! Whatever, let's just get this over with.
He says drawing his blade. Eren takes out her guns and glances at Matt, who nods in approval. They then run in, ready to face the horde. Meanwhile, Shuri was finishing taking a shower and got her clothes back on. She then grabbed her phone and noticed a call. Answering, she puts it up to her ear.
Shuri: Yello?
Imp: PRINCESS SHURI! SOME WEIRD TV THING HAS BROKE INTO THE BASE! THEY’RE DRAINING THE BLOOD OF US DEMONS!
Shuri: Okay so how does this concern me?
She replies calmly, blowing her hair.
Imp: THEY WANT TO TALK WITH YOU! PLEASE JUST COME! PLEASE!!!
Shuri sighs. She had so much plans she wanted to do today, but oh well.
Shuri: Alright fine I’m coming. How’s the look alike of Kingsman and his sister?
Imp: THEY’RE FINE! THEY’RE FINE JUST COME OVER!! PLEASE!
Shuri shakes her head and walks out of the house, passing by the corpses of the family that lived there
Shuri: Coming!
She walks over as a Pomeranian watches in the distance. Determined to help his master, he runs off to find him to alert him of what he saw
