Explanation in comments if anyone wants to read

A year ago or two, my parents divorced and I got a bad schedule (11 days with my bitchass mom, 4 days with my dad) and I've been following that schedule the court set. SEVERAL months ago, I asked dad to go to the court and change it to where I'm with him most of the time. He said I'd be able to go to the court too so I could speak up about what I wanted. It took so much time for him to set that court date and now the date was YESTERDAY and I didn't even get to go yesterday! Now it's stuck where I go to his house most of the time for 6 months and then it all goes back to what it is rn when the 6 months is up! So all that waiting and effort was for NOTHING. And what's even worse is now I have to transfer schools and leave all my friends for good bc Dad said if I'm gonna stay with him I'll have to transfer and I said "deal" but now this shit is temporary for 6 months then things will revert back to the way they were and this time I won't be going to school with my friends! I swear she f**ked it all up in the court. She didn't even take us kids to go to the court even tho we should've.

Well, when you turn 18, you can spend 100% of your time with your dad if you want. And meanwhile, if you get involved in a lot of extracurricular activities at school like clubs and stuff you’ll have less time where you actually have to deal with your mom.
