msmg is literally known for being unwelcoming. you have to earn your existence here until you stop getting saturned. at least I had to.

when I joined in late 2022 it was constant bombardment until I got enough followers to be accepted. it bothers me random unfunny 12 year olds can join msmg out of nowhere and we just accept and ignore them

It felt like a right of passage. it was a cycle. you get bullied until you're accepted, once accepted you can now bully with the rest of msmg. it helped filter out sensitive users and only kept people able to take criticism
