The Quran is literally what 99% of Muslim culture is built on. They don’t let women do shit because it’s Haram. It’s part of why most of them (the extreme ones at least) hate the west. You're wrong. Firstly 99% of Muslim culture isn't built on Quran, it's only there when it comes to religion. Also It's not "letting women do shit because it's haram". Women were oppressed very much in pre-Islamic middle east, Islam opposes sexism but some Muslims didn't accept it. It's like how when slavery was made illegal, everyone thought it was a very bad idea. Except those who didn't accept the change about women are only Afghans and other underdeveloped countries like that.
