Writing and composing a song isn't something you just go and do, musicians take their years to learn to do this

what i do not understand is that i started composing earlier than my brother and he just takes banger lyrics out of nowhere when im with my crappy ones

When I'm writing songs I say my problems and stuff but use a metaphor. Like let's say I'm yapping about how fast the time passes, instead of "time passes like crazy" I say something like "the sand just flies by the wind" the sand here represents time.
Also make sure you know what your song is about, not knowing what you're singing about leaves you with ass lyrics

thats always the metaphors part where im ass.. there give me a random phrase that i have to metaphor youll just how bad it is

Thanks. Then you don't have to use metaphors, like Steve Lacy, he just says what he says without metaphors but in a dramatic tone and way, it still makes the lyrics hit
