eyes are extremely complicated, so even if we could get that too work, theres still the fact that it may not be the eye itself thats the problem. often its the nerves or part of the brain that processes vision

Then do the same thing I proposed but with the nerves

i am not an eye doctor, so i dont fully understand how it works, but i assume that we would already be doing this with organ donors (specifically people who donate their bodies for medical or research purposes after death) if it were possible with current technology

make new technology

Because you can’t reconnect the eye stalks without messing with the frontal lobe since your eyes are directly attached to your brain

do you really NEED your frontal lobe though??
