"Open World Mario kart" sounds like a joke entry you'd see on one of those Mario Kart iceberg charts.

Star Wars Game devs do not know what an "Open World" game is. So to clarify, An Open World game is an MMO game based on the concept of crafting your own story in a massive landscape full of maps. Basically a Minecraft Civilization Experiment but its a different game. It can be set in many universes, and you can join different factions or sides, fight in wars, start a business, and be creative in your own expansive story.
