Yeah, most wide cab GE engines looks pretty much identical. I was going to buy it in a Union Pacific livery because that's the railroad where I'm from, but the CN example was in my budget, so i got it instead
I would recommend picking a specific railroad to model- I picked bnsf- then you can get a higher volume of trains from that road. Bonus points if you do what I did and get a friend to model another railroad on the same layout, so you can get the multiple railroad immersion without spending a bajillion dollars.
Thanks. I don't really go for a specific era, railroad or type. I have a pretty diverse collection because of that. (2 steam engines, an ATSF F7, a European diesel shunter, and an F40PHR in UP colors)
