Flip Flop is an incredibly fast creature, and as silly as they may look, they can kill you pretty quickly. If you spot one, make sure that it hasn't spotted you. If it hasn't, very quietly walk away. If it has, run as fast as you can, and don't look back. If you don't think you can outrun it, grab a sharp long object, like a stick or a sword if one is available, and stick it out in front of you. This will cause Flip Flop to impale itself, killing it instantly.
