Sermon; I don't claim to
speak for any
fictional historical
figure, but if Jesus
were alive today, I
like to think he'd
counsel us that
today's so-called
Conservatives deserve
no less love and good will than
the money lenders, prostitutes, and
rabid dogs of his time. Consider, he
might say, that many of them have
little in their lives to celebrate, and
simply getting up in the morning is
a huge accomplishment for some. So
go forth in good will, and should one
of them offend thee with their words
or their stinky aroma or their need
to deport all non-hillbillies, just say
unto them, 'No thanks, Bubba. Not
today. Take it back to Satan's den.'
