About MD
1. Murder Drones has HORRIBLE writing. N and V were given extremely shallow redemption arcs and J who was SO close to redemption was instead reverted back to original. Also, didn’t I forget to mention the pacing? Moreover, there’s barely any foreshadowing and a choppy story
2. N was absolutely insufferable. I thought he was extremely annoying and a screen hog. For me, he had the energy of a Scrappy (the trope) than a golden retriever
3. The murder drones community was pretty annoying. It’s mainly zalphas (as in zoomers who act like alphas) or creepy simps who made me extremely uncomfy
4. The series seems to appeal to teens unnaturally, as if the creator was trying so hard to make it appeal to teens by including a stereotypical protagonist and internet-y humour
5. The main antagonist seems to be very flat and doesn’t come off as intimidating whatsoever
About MHA:
1. While the community is toxic, I do not support the toxicity and I am not one of the toxic fans
2. The worldbuilding is interesting. The concept of a world with humans having bizarre abilities and the hero-villain thing is pretty cool in an anime
3. The action in the series is rather compelling and the pacing is a bit slow yet smooth
4. Many villains are complex and rather enjoyable
5. KYOKA JIRO MY BELOVED (she truly deserved more screentime)
